As From Tuesday 18th July you will be asked to self-refer your pregnancy to the midwife by scanning a QR code or entering a URL link that will take them to the online referral page.
Once the online form is submitted it will be sent directly to New Cross Maternity Services, the GP practice selected on the form and to the Community Midwifery team who cover that GP practice.
Please contact the sugery, so that we can give you information on how to self refer to the midwife.
There is an antenatal clinic every Thursday between 09:00 and 16:00. Pregnant women are first seen at around 8 - 10 weeks pregnant. They can get help and advice in every aspect of antenatal care. Once a pregnancy has been confirmed, it is important to book an appointment with a midwife who will then monitor you throughout your pregnancy.
